An old derelict farm was purchased with the dream of turning it into a family home with an airfield.
Over the years the property and surrounding land has been developed & maintained, while preserving and encouraging natural wildlife to thrive. 
 
Three well stocked fish ponds, enables all types of wild life ranging from dragonfly's, newts and herons. The  dedicated wildflower meadow encourages butterflies and insects. 
Sheep graze during the winter month. Hay is grown during the summer & locally distributed to equestrian paternity.

Hamilton Farm Airstrip WW2 History

 

During WW2  an airfield was constructed near to Hamilton farm.

The USAAF Ninth Air Force, required

several temporary Advanced Landing Ground (ALG), along the channel coast, prior to the June 1944 Normandy invasion. This was to provide tactical air support for the ground forces landing in France. 

Kingsnorth airfield was selected in July 1942 and given the final go-ahead for construction to start

December 1942, the landing strip was completed 1 March 1943.
